Well hi guys! Elf added me to this blog thing. It's been a while since ive heard from adam and mikey! So hows everything going with you guys? Why yew allwaste play dose game?????

To save you some time from asking, I am doing just fine! Graduating in spring and moving in with Yaya in Cleveland. Gonna have to find a decent job there too in order for my parents to approve. There is this douchebag Korean that thinks he loves her (lol) and he thinks that I'm his only cockblock. He doesn't realize that Yaya just doesn't like him, with or without me. The only reason why Yaya has been so nice to this guy is because he's her lab mentor. Supposedly she's gonna break it to him in a few days, but I don't know.. I'm too excited to see how this will unfold. I love it when people don't know their places and they have to learn the hard way. Their pain and suffering from being idiots will only further sustain my very existence. Check it though fellas, this guy has said so many things to her in desperation. For example, "You don't have to work hard for love." Nice nice, breathe that one in.. intellectually stimulating nonetheless. And who can forget the classic "Can I come too?" For example, Yaya says, brb shower, and then he says, "Can I come too??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????" Yes, you fucking idiot nigger, you can come too. Oh, and the best one I've heard yet: "Would you like to lie with me under some flowers?" NICE. Big pimpin right there. Apparently, he was talking about how he has blankets with a flower pattern on it. Nice nice, I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE CHAMP.

Anyway, did I write too much? Is this an illegal blog action? I don't usually do this stuff, but if it entertains, I'll write more when I'm bored. Thanks for reading! I hope all of you are doing well!

Why do we always play games? Why the fuck not?..we say. Other than drugs and sex, what is going to provide as much stimulation and satisfaction as gaming? We play games because they challenge us. Gaming is like any competitive sport, all the elements are there..the test of skill and tactics, the competition, and the satisfaction of winning. Unlike sports though, success in gaming isn't limited by one's physical shortcomings (you just need good eyes and hands).
We play games because we're good at it..and I'm pretty sure we're addicted to it.
Honestly, whenever I'm asked a similar question, I just give some lame answer to get them off my back, because I know they have already made up their minds on the subject and will never truly understand it.

Why do you do anything that you find entertaining????

2 weeks ago I was suppose to get another tattoo but since it was scotty day, I decided not to ditch scotty day and was bitched by another friend. Since then things haven't been going so well.

That tuesday after Scotty day I believe I had a presentation at school where if you are in the group who has the best presentation, then you get out of the class with an A. This tuesday is the tie breaker which is among 3 groups and mine is one of them.

The next friday (last friday) I sprained my ankle in basketball, which isn't new news but I just haven't hurt myself in a while so BLAH.

This weekend we went out to celebrate Melody's ending of the LSAT. First time ever I wokeup still drunk and proceeded to have a hangover until 11pm.

Since my friend bitched at me about not ditching scotty on scotty day I started to talk to the girl I like again who turns out still doesn't like me back. Funny to say everyone is hooking or hooked up nowadays and I am still here. I'm going to buy a dog when I grow up and be one of them bachelors that never got anyone or any ass.

While I had that massive drunkness / hangover this past Sunday my car apparently got vandalized and now one side of my car is spraypainted green with doodles. A cop found out the fgt and is in jail now (pending on the result of me sueing his ass and wanting to shoot him when he's out of jail). My mom blamed me for everything AS USUAL saying it's my fault for making so many enemies and that is why this happened to me. I hate talking to my parents more than living with them a lot of times. You wonder why I have such a low self esteem huh?

hmm...i'll post some pics up latar about Victor and various crap on my cam latar.

I don't think more has been happening in my life more than just work in school and me realizing I'm leaving school soon, but yeah, I'll try to stop liking and talking to the girl I like who treats me like shit and uses me (in my view). So whatever.

I decided to go to class today and while sitting at the bus stop waiting, I notice this 5'7'' skinny black man wearing a raggedy red polo shirt pacing up and down the sidewalk next to me. As he's doing this, the whole time, he is holding up his right sleeve staring at his flexed bicep. I was intrigued, I even looked at his bicep (wasn't impressed). Normally, I probably would have just laughed and said WTF? but the scene brought a genuine smile to my face and at that moment I thought life was pretty cool. I was listening to my favoritest song, 23 (Jimmy Eat World) at the time and I know forshow that it had an affect on how I perceived things. I love music. I love bus stop. I shut up now.

so on tuesday i had negotiations pt II with the wranglers and after about 30 minutes of listening to my agent and the coaches and such talk about me with me sitting there listening like a lil kid they seemed pretty stubborn about what they want to pay me. jim, my agent, threatened that another team was going to pick me up, give me good pay, and im going to plague the wranglers when we play them next season. im sure they hear that kinda threat all the time from agents or whatever, but then jim busts out a list of dates and appointments we have with other teams for me to go there and workout. then he busts out a fax from his company giving him authorization to pay for my flight/stay/expenses in these cities while i go workout for them. he followed it up by sayin, one of these teams is gonna field doug for the price we want THIS season. and doug is gonna take it. and this whole time im thinking 'holy crap he got the authorization?? holy crap NINE cities now??? im gonna take other teams' offers for real!?!?!' so all this was news to me while the meeting was going on. it didnt help that jim didnt brief me the night before because he was drunk at yellow rose.

so the coaches were like...you get other teams contract proposals and we'll see how much the other teams like him and then we can renegotiate. so basically i have to go all over the country to get at least one of these teams to really like me so we have negotiating leverage. so i gotta bring the A game...good thing ive been drinking all weekend and pulled my hamstring last night.

so this weekend it begins....first stop....LAS VEGAS. its on baby. i spend one night there and do my thing and leave, and try to fit in a show and some gambling hopefully (not w/my money of course). other cities im goin to for the next few months are dallas, chicago, new york, spokane (washington), grand rapids (michigan), memphis, arizona, and colorado. 4 of these cities i have to hit up in span of 10 days. (arizona, dallas, grand rapids and chi-town) so i hit up N, S, E, W sides of america in a week....shit is gonna be tiring but im still pumped.

today marked a good day as i worked out my arms..felt ambitious and curled 60lbs dumbells like it was nada. im pumped baby.

oh yea...right now i want over 150k base salary and up to about 300 after bonuses and game pay....its more and more realistic after talkin with coaches and staff so dont think im jus daydreamin or that my agents daydreamin. MONEY for playin a KIDS GAME....holy shit...im so close. if the price is right...im playing (for those wondering what im gonna do)

ive had lots of people askin the same questions about my whole austin wranglers situation and because it takes a while to explain i got sick of it so im sayin it once more. once you read it youd understand why i dont like repeating it over and over.

so as most of you know i went was recruited for the wranglers and asked to workout for them last week. this was totally out of the blue and didnt plan on pursuing a football career at all...i didnt even think it was realistic. coaches were lookin at some tape on chance mock in practice while he was at ut (he's a qb for the wranglers now) and i caught their eye and they found out who i was and thats how i was contacted. also thru my friend aj who is the assistant director of athletics there.

i trained and trained by myself for the last few weeks and got in somewhat decent shape but by no means anywhere near where i used to be. i went to the workout which was a total of 4 days M-Th starting at 6am every morning. we started with 19 players working out and by 10am on that same morning it was down to 4. the 4 being a guy just waived off the jacksonville jaguars and one waived off the arizona cardinals. the third guy was this 30+ year old dude comin from the cfl wanting to try afl out. my stats were better than i thought theyd be for my workout but i realized exactly how much i fell off since i last played. 40 time - 4.49. vert - 25". bench - 13x. fastest in short and long shuttle. broad jump - 7.5' and others but those are the ones people always ask.

so tuesday rolled around and i ended up putting someone in the hospital but it was a total accident. i threw him on the ground and his helmet was off and his head whipped back and hit the ground really hard. he had a concussion and the doctors were scared bc he had some bleeding in the temporal lobe but he was released thursday so he's fine now. so then there were 3 after tuesday.

wednesday was interesting cuz i got in a fight on the field with one of the other guys. and all three of us made it again.

thursday was the day when they said we want all of you but the max they were gonna take was 2. and they said beforehadn the minimum was zero.

so i waited and waited and got a call from my agent and he gave me the news of contract negotiations for this tuesday (yesterday) but it didnt necessarily mean i was on the team yet they just wanted to see how much i was wanting to get paid or something. so there are 3 people with 2 spots and the coaches want all of us and we are all strong in our own ways.

they gave me quite a bit of options that i can do but basically i CANT play afl in austin. if i want to play for the wranglers i sign a 3yr deal with them, where the first year i get my wrist and knee surgery and rehab the entire year and get paid appx 8k for the season before tax and agent fees which is shit. then the second year i play in the afl2 which is the minor league and get paid 24k + 1050 per game which comes out to 40.8K before agent and tax. then if im still healthy i move up to the wranglers during year three and i was offered 90.5k + 2500 per which comes out to be about 130.5k for year 3 plus potential performance bonuses of up to 92k coming out to about 220k for the entire year 3 if i play like a champ.

another option given is to be traded. 5 other teams want to see me for some reason (columbus destroyers, georgia force, arizona rattlers, dallas desparados, and las vegas gladiators). some of these teams will give me the same deal as the wranglers making me play in afl2 for a little more money. and some will give me a chance to play without having the surgeries bc ive been cleared to play but theyll pay only around 50-60k and if i get put on IR or waived then the lumpsum release percent is only at 22% so again if i get hurt ill be screwed.

also all these numbers have bonus potentials pending performance. and workouts for those other 5 teams are comin up some within 3 weeks and some 3 months away. they gave me til tuesday for our next meeting to give a counter offer, so i have to figure all this out w/jim (agent). (we decided that he owns 9.2% of me - so he owns my left arm - i dont need it anyway). i dont know i think im leavin out a lot but who knows. meeting was from 9-1p and was boring as hell. but basically i got a lot of thinkin to do and if i didnt need surgery the 90.5K deal would be a right now thing, so that totally sucks.

so im debating all this right now bc i have a chance at this money and being a pro player which is something ive always wanted, but it is an insane amount of risk for just my chance bc there are clauses in teh contract stating that i can be released from the contract by paying me a percentage of my salary. the wranglers have it set at 38% right now so if in year 2 i get hurt ill get a shitty .38 of 24k. it also requires me to leave austin soon so since i cant break my lease bc josh is still gon live here for the next 11 months i have to cover that cost. thats the 8k for the first year spent just right there. so the question is how the hell am i gonna live for the first year in washington? and my parents wont help me cuz if im not doing school then im on my own which is fine i dont want to ask for help. so here i am....i know what i SHOULD do but how can i pass on something ive always wanted?

oh yea. not to get ahead of ourselves but if i perform well and stay healthy for the next 3 yrs then most likely ill get a contract of over a 400K. my 90.5K deal is actually kinda low bc im a liability at all times cuz of all of my injuries.

Sunny Day #23

Ok so this weekend a lot of us went to Houston to celebrate Sunny's birthday. We had dinner at Pappa's and went to Cathy's for pregame. The original plan was to go to a club called Chrome after Cathy's but some of us weren't dressed appropriately. I didn't bring pants or shoes because I had no idea where we were going, Eric didn't have dressy clothes, and Sunny just plain forgot to bring his pants so he went to dinner wearing jordan shorts and a black dress shirt. So instead of going to the club we went to this pub in Rice village named Ginger Man. We all had a good time and Sunny got preeetty drunk. I'm sure all of you know what he's like when he's drunk but only a select few know what he's like when he's fuuxd up. Well later in the night when ppl were starting to leave and 7 of us were left, Kelvin buys Sunny the "darkest shit" that they have at that place and after one sip of it, it's obvious Sunny is fuuxd up. He hunches over like he's going to puke but bounces back up and walks straight to the restroom. When he comes out he seems ok but only for a minute because instead of rejoining the group he starts to wander around the pub alone. Seeing this, I get up and help guide Sunny out of the bar and towards the parking garage. We cross the street and get on the sidewalk leading into the garage and Sunny makes a sharp turn towards the parking gate and leans on the arm. Well..the arm collapses downwards and gives off a cracking sound. Just imagine Sunny hanging on a tree limb and it breaks but it's still hanging on to the tree by a splinter. So I'm like OOH KAY..and immediately pull Sunny off the gate and turn him around towards the garage again. Out of the corner of my eye I see ppl running towards us but I didn't give a shit at this point..I just kept on pushing Sunny forward. In his booth, the parking attendant looks over his shoulder to see what was going on but he turns right back around thankfully. Talk about an adrenaline rush.

We finally reach Eric's car and shortly after getting in the passenger seat, Sunny opens his door and you can all guess what happens. If you can't, here is some visual aid.



In my experience, Sunny is never finished after just throwing up once. And as expected he moves to the stairwell of the garage for round 2.







After waiting about 2 hours we finally get Sunny to get up and get in the car. But instead of getting in the car he starts walking down the stairs. So Eric and I look at each other with our WTF faces, and I tell Eric to drive the car downstairs to meet me. Once downstairs, we wait another 30 minutes for Sunny to get in the back seat of the car.

Yay we're finally in the car and on the way home.
Wrong. We move a whole 2 inches and Sunny gets out of the car and returns to the floor. After another 30 minutes we finally get him back in.

When we hit the first major intersection Sunny, again, decides he needs to get out. Sitting at a red light in the middle lane of a major intersection, Sunny opens his door, walks across a lane, and proceeds to lie down on the storm drain with his arm and leg hanging off the side of the curb into the street. I move him.




We get him back in the car again (this time we locked the doors) and make our way slowly back home.

I was watching ESPN bowling right now and they don't really bowl that high. Like average was around 230. THat's so doable it's not even funny. Even though I still need a lot of work on my game to be more consistent, but when I get consistent Iw ill be cpl pro like alf.

I sleep at 7am now, so I'm bored as usual because every normal person is asleep or just waking up at this time, so I thought I'd do some contributing to this here blog unlike ahem ANGEFOBorMAYBENOTIMNOTsoSUREanymore.

Random shit in no particular order:
- Shortly after Doug tells me he needs to see a doctor because I passed a football to his left eyeball, I get what I believe to be sympathy pinkeye in my left eye. Oh and no surgery needed for Doug thank god. My pinkeye is getting better too.
- I started playing WoW again. Fuck.
- Still bowling with Eric, but cut down to once a week due to broken arm and lack of cash mahney. We also joined a league called "Mixed Nuts" at Highland Lanes which meets Monday nights, and the first meeting is Aug 14th. More updates on this to come.

Ok I swear I had more things to add but I feel like I'm going to die now and it's almost 7 so I'm going to bed.

AMF...Always Means Fun

Every Fri/Sat they have this deal from 11pm-2am you pay $17 and play as many games as you want. Sooo I go an hour early to get a lane because the place gets packed at 1030. I got a lane right away and avoided waiting in line. I paid for one regular game while I was waiting for Eric. At about 1050 my game was almost over and Eric and I went up to the counter to pay for the unlimited games..and the guy (named FIDEL)..says "we sold your lane to someone else...you didn't tell us you wanted to play more". At this point, I'm Like W T F..I'm telling you right now I want to play more, and our game is not even over. We go in there every day for a week and say we want to play 8 games..but they never give it to us, making us pay for 3-4 games first, and we eventually have to go up there again and pay for the rest. Why can't we just take care of it in one transaction? FUCKING DOUCHEBAGS. So every single time we ask to play multiple games they tell us to come back..and that's what we do..we FINISH our games and go up to pay for more. SO this time I go up and pay for more BEFORE we finish, and I get "we sold your lane". TO TOP IT OFF..the fucking hicks he gave our lane to, took the liberty of finishing our game! THANKS! After talking to FIDEL, I talked to the spic manager as well and he's, without a doubt, more useless than the cashiers (keep handing out those shoes buddy). In the end, all we got was put on the waiting list, so we were left with no choice but to leave.

After yelling at traffic lights on my way speeding home. I went outside and kicked my soccer ball because I don't own a bat. I also sent a complaint to AMF and got this in the email today:

I have been bowling quite a bit this summer, almost once a week (even in HK). This past week though, I've been going almost every day. At first, it was because I'm just so damn bored here in Houston, but then I noticed a bit of improvement in my game so I got hooked. I also got Eric hooked and we are now officially bowling whores (going 6 days a week makes you a whore).

THE RESULTS:




My avg has gone up about 35 pts and Eric's has gone up.. i don't even know.. he went from high score of like 120 to 198. I'm joining a league when I get back to austin so please play with me thanks.

1. Italy won the world cup (i was goin for the french..until zidane freaking headbutted an italian dood in the chest, freaking dirty) Oh and the world cup is tiny and pansyish...i was expecting the size of a Stanley cup..but i see a beer mug like trophy..weak!

Vegas recap

So i recently came back from vegas and i really did have a good time in spite of the 110 degree weather. The heat really isnt that bad because you get used to it and because you are consistetnly drinking something..whether its alocholic or not. On the first day I got there, we didnt have much to do so we walked everywhere. The highlight of the day was when I went to the Wynn hotel and paid 10 bux to go inside the Ferrari dealership inside. They had Ferraris, Masserati, Lambos, porsche GT, Ford GT, pretty much saw 40 cars all exotics...including the Enzo...which is a fine machine..that the were selling for 1.2 or 1.6 million..cant remember. Also I saw the Miami Dallas game at MGM's sports books section...which was totally awesome huge screens everywhereeee...People yelling, drinking, and having a good time. As for fine dining..i tried to be on a budget so i only went to Mesa Grill and La Fornaio.. Mesa Grill (bobby flay's) didnt disappoint. It was damn good when we went to the NY location..and it was damn good in Vegas. As for the Clubbing scene..Vegas is pretty good. I went to the Palms where they have 2 famous clubs...ghost bar (on rooftop) and Rain (ground level). Our group went to Rain, and it was good, decent music, pyrotechnics, good looking people, and plenty of drinks.. I had probably anywhere from 12-17 shots equivalent that night...The next day was spent sleeping and resting. There was also a Optometry Pool party at the Luxor pool and the sad thing is that noone was allowed in the pool. There was however free food and 2 drinks (choices of magarita on the rox, soft drinks, budlight, budweiser, bottled water) It was ok but nuttin too special. The Optometry convention that was held and the sole purpose why Tracy went to Vegas was also an interesting experience. A ton of contact lens companies and other biotech companies were giving out free stuff. There was free wine and cheese, t shirts, pens, contact lens solution, contact lens, ice cream, smoothies, water bottles, etc. I cant wait until i go to medical conventions and get free stuff too..This is also where i found out how crazy and wild optometry students are. We went to a quiz bowl ...named the superbowl..which was for optometry students. Each school had a representative and would compete against the others while answering optometry related questions..This is where all the other optometry students were going crazy....freak dancing elvis and stuff on stage etc..

As for the gambling, i only gambled one day, the last day i was there and i won about a hundred bux. One of my dealers (dealers rotate tables) said that he had a friend that was also a vegas card dealer that recently bought a ferrari.. in fact he knew 8 vegas dealers that bought ferraris.. WTF you may say...Well apparently they were lucky enough to deal cards to all the big boys (royal ivey, Doyle Brunson, etc) And they bought those cars from their tips alone.. from one nights work. Vegas is just crazy like that... I like the place alot..and I cant wait to go there when i actually have money to spend.

Home

I'm in the process of coming home. Should be home in 1-2 days depending on my driving, and we all know what that's like.

btw. home = houston. Will be in Austin later to pickup some stuff.
