I think I've talked to or heard about everyone directly or indirectly...and it's safe to say everyone is alive. That being said, Houston looks like someone went through and pruned the entire city and left all the clippings on the ground. The usual places flooded plus some minor leaks, tree damage, downed power lines, and broken windows. That's all. Galveston looks like New Orleans, from what I can tell.
I played Trivial Pursuit when I had no power and discovered I suck.
I think pretty much everyone had water, and now starting to get power. I have power and water. Adam and Jason are lucky and have power, water, and INTERNETS. Thanks Adam for letting me borrow the interwebs. I went to work today just so I could use the interwebs.
To lighten up the mood, here's your funny news story of the day.
PS. Cell phone coverage sucks, but texting is still good. If you're calling your parents in SL, call their landline, that works best. But make sure they're not using the new fangled cordless/battery phone. Gotta use the reliable corded phone.
