Ive been watching most of these games (western conference mainly + chicago/Miami) and i have to say the most exciting/entertaining has got to be:
the Warriors/Mavs series.. Game 4 was soo awesome the crowd is ridiculously loud and it was such a "down-to-the-wire" game that really was worth watching, even with the 8am Final i had to take the next morning. And living on East coast time didnt help (game ended at 1 am..watched post game chatter till 2ish). But it was well worth it..BD PWN kthx.. Warriors up 3-1 hoping to close it out in Dallas in game 5.
The Miami/Chicago series is entertaining as well.. but in a different way, none of the games were really that close but you saw ben gordon and luol deng tear up the whole heat squad eventually Sweeping the defending champs at Miami, good thing i didnt buy tickets to go. Also Nocioni is definately their X-factor he does alot for that team besides pts/rebs..this team will definately give the pistons a run for their money.
And then there is the Rockets series...I was very worried how badly we got owned in games 3 and 4 that i had almost lost hope.. but we managed to steal a win at home, hopefully we can gain some momentum and steal another in utah to seal the deal...After getting outplayed by Utah's 6th man (matt harpring) in game 4, Tmac came to play tonite with 26 and 16 assists..He had this one play where he pretty muched dunked over AK47 and maybe one other guy, and another play where he broke giricek's ankles and eventually making some circus shot over boozer. Game 5 was pretty damn physical, they pretty much didnt call anything down-low so yao got robbed a lot of freethrows, as did Tmac. Yao is getting dominated by boozer and we need to find some kind of defensive scheme to counter that.. Game 6 is on Thursday, right before my Parasitology test..and theres still no question that i'll miss watching this game.
I was going to end the post with that..but how could i forget the Suns/Lakers series!! Nash is amazing, and i still think he should get the MVP instead of dirk.. 15 assists at the half of game 4 are you kidding me! thats tied for all time with magic and doc rivers. and he finished with like 23 assists or something. Nash is definately a future hall of famer, because i think he's better than Stockton, and he is a hall of famer. Nash actually can create his own shot and go on a scoring rampage as evidence in previous years playoffs, or he can go on cruise control and deal out 20+ assists at any given night. That coupled with freakishly athletic teammates (amare, matrix, barbosa) this team is scary..And if the Mavs lose to the warriors..the Suns WILL win the championship.. If the Rockets win their series with the Jazz, we would have to face warriors/mavs..And then we would have to go against the Suns assuming they take care of the Spurs which is pretty obvious that the Suns are probably the worse matchup for the Rockets in the league. We did beat them once this season at home in the 2nd to last regular season game, but we played perfect ball and it was still a very close game. As it stands now, the Suns are up 3-1 and are most likely going to finish this one in 5.
The other 3 matchups in the East..are all Sweeps...Snooze fest..except for new jersey/toronto..that matchup is a snooze fest..just not a sweep..jersey should finish them off in 5.

Good post. Man Boozer was just beating up on Yao all night, but I'm glad the Rockets squeaked out a win.
Ok, now tell your freaking cobloggers that they need to revive this blog.
Absolutely agree...
